சக்தி தெய்வங்களின் சிறப்பு வழிபட்டிற்கு உரிய மாதமாக ஆடி மாதம் கருதப்படுகிறது. கிராமம் மற்றும் நகரங்களில் ஸ்ரீ மாரியம்மன் மற்றும் ஸ்ரீ காளியம்மன் போன்ற ஆலயங்களில் பக்தர்கள் அனைவரும் ஒன்று கூடி கூழ் வைத்து ஒரு பானை அல்லது பாத்திரத்தில் அம்பாளுக்கு சமர்பித்து உலக நன்மையின் பொருட்டு கூட்டு வழிபாடாக செய்வது ஆடி கூழ் பூஜை ஆகும்

The month of Aadi is deemed auspicious for the worship of the Mother Goddess. In the month of Aadi, devotees gather at Sri Mariamman and Sri Kaliamman temples , cook Koozh (millet porride), offer it in a pot to the Mother Goddess and pray jointly for the wellness of everyone. This worship is called Aadi Koozh Poojai.
