Purattasi Shukla Chaturdasi (4th day of the Waxing Moon in the month of Purattasi) is the Upasandhi (Time just before sunset) Pooja of Natarajar's six Abhishekams (ablutions). Worshipping Sri Natarajar on this day yields the same benefits as the worship of Thirunelveli Thamirasabhai. Of the six Ataras this Abhishekam focuses on the dance of the Manipuraka Chakra. This Abhishekam is also specially known as Kanyamasa Chaturtasi.
